Hello and Welcome to NRDF
The National Research and Development Foundation is a private, Non-Governmental Organization established in 1983 under the laws of Saint Lucia to promote research and the expansion of economic development in St. Lucia. NRDF emerged from the Caribbean Research Center, St. Lucia (1978-1983). A similar Non-Governmental, non-profit institution created to co-ordinate, support and undertake socio-economic research projects.
The Organization functions with a local membership base, a Board of Directors with to special policy committees; namely Credit and Finance and Training and Marketing Committee, a General Manager and full-time professional staff.
Two major components of NRDF’S operations are small enterprise development and institution strengthening. These include the provision of technical assistance, training and credit to small enterprises. NRDF also operates a training Center/fully equipped Conference Room with audio-visual resources and Research Library.
