Early Childhood Development
COURSE OBJECTIVES: Participants will be able to recognize factors that influence the healthy growth & development of young children. Organize developmentally appropriate experiences and environments that encourage each child’s individual development. Examine the effectiveness of current strategies for facilitating exploration and positive interaction in the Early Childhood Environment. Promote parents and guardians involvement in a child’s development. Identify opportunities and strategies for reinforcing development and learning at home.

- MODULE 5: The role of a good Day Care and Preschool.

- MODULE 11: Creative Activities
ASSESSMENT: Course work, written examination, class and home assignments, individual presentation on selected readings, Case studies: interpretation and selection of case studies.
