Development and Training

The Foundation shall participate in programmes and projects of a developmental nature directed at:

• The mobilization and so-ordination of small manufacturing, commercial, agricultural, fishing enterprises and tourism development
• The development of self reliance within all sectors of St. Lucian society
• The application of research findings in the development process.

A Board of Directors elected at Annual General Meetings from among the Membership governs the Foundation.

Three committees serve the Board viz: -

• FINANCE AND ESTABLISHMENT - which is concerned with fund raising, financial and staff administration.
• RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING - which is concerned with coordinating training programmes and projects, identifying universities, colleges and various educational institutions, research and development projects.
• CREDIT AND COUNSELING - which appraises and approves loan applications, monitors and controls lending programmes.
