Mission & Vision Statement for NRDF
Mission Statement:
“To consistently provide stakeholders with opportunities to improve the
socio-economic conditions through research, finance and high quality
training.”
To this end, the Foundation will adopt a collaborative integrated and
participatory approach in providing research, training and technical
assistance. It will provide credit, advocacy, project management,
information and other administrative services with due regard to its
own economic viability.
Vision Statement:
To become the Premier Business Research and Development Institute
Business Focus
NRDF provides loans, training and consultancy services for the benefit
of micro and small entrepreneurs, which may be organized as sole
proprietors, partnerships, companies or co-operatives.
Four objectives underline these services, namely:
- Generating and increasing the income of borrowers
- Generating new jobs opportunities and protecting existing jobs
- Stimulating greater local production and foreign exchange
- Increasing exports and foreign exchange earnings for St. Lucia.
